ISO measures the sensitivity of the image sensor to light.A higher ISO will produce a picture which is brighter compare to the picture with lower ISO.Higher ISO settings are generally used in darker situations to get faster shutter speeds. For example an indoor sports event where there is less light.However,higher ISO creates nosier pictures which is seen as the pictures will look grainy.

Aperture is an opening through which light travels.If you are taking a picture in a bright day, then small aperture (f/8) should be used,this means that the opening is smaller however the f-number is larger.

Shutter speed is to freeze action or to blur motion. If the shutter speed is set to be slow the longer the cameras sensor is open to light so it snaps the photo blurred and when it’s set to fast it will catch the shot very quickly and the photo will be frozen.
Shutter speed is also knows as ‘exposure time’ which represents length of time the shutter is open to expose light into the sensor. Fast shutter speed can freeze the action completely as the photo below. Setting your shutter speed slow will create the effect which is called ‘Motion blur’ and it’s when the moving object appear blurred along the directions of the motion.
